Residential Market Outlook

The Hunter Region Residential Market Outlook (HRRMO), first released in June 2009, examines trends in the residential market, including sales, issues in the rental market and patterns relevant to housing construction and land development. The research series provides reliable analysis of the regional property market and augments the Foundation's economic and social research programs.

The series also includes the HVRF First Home Buyer Affordability Index, which measures the relationship between repayment capacity of First Home Buyers (FHB) and mortgage repayment requirements based on median house prices.
