In the past 12 months alone, our Sponsors have enable the HVRF to:

  • Respond to more than 2,000 requests through our public enquiries service
  • Experience over 6,000 hits on our website including free HVRF publication downloads
  • Serve up insightful information to more than 3,200 people over breakfast, lunch or dinner at one of our 12 annual functions
  • Collect the opinions of 4,800 householders and business representatives to use in our economic and other research programs
  • Respond to many media enquiries that generated hundreds of stories
  • Circulate information directly to 3,500 people through our publications
  • Brief political leaders from Federal, State and Local Governments.

  • Undertake an extensive Wellbeing research program identifying areas of disadvantage and significant social inhibitors to the Region's ongoing development
  • Provide regular comprehensive economic updates in Newcastle, the Upper Hunter and Central Coast
  • Highlight the Hunter's strengths to a range of visitors including the NSW Cabinet
  • Point to emerging areas of environmental concern for Hunter and Central Coast residents
  • Undertake a number of community based activities including a school geography competition and lecture series
